Without hesitation I can recommend Pinkard's staff members...who were highly responsive and very professional in their work on this project and their interactions with our office... During constriction they were very diligent in maintaining the budget and working with the design team to minimize change order impacts.

Harvest Pointe Senior Living Apartments is a ground-up project consisting of 80 apartments, each with a master suite, living area and full kitchen. Resident amenities include a library, community room, craft center, and a private gardening area.

The 3-story, wood framed structure is on concrete shallow foundation with spread footings and stem walls. The exterior has asphalt shingles, vinyl windows, wood siding and faux stone in a craftsman style. Heating and cooling is provided for common areas by central HVAC, with individual, gas-fired, through-wall heat and air conditioning at each apartment.

During preconstruction, Pinkard was able to identify and apply over $500,000 in value engineering savings to the client.

Harvest Pointe was HUD financed.


Though the end use was to be affordable, the design was engineered to look like anything else but, so the champagne taste on a beer budget analogy was very much in effect from beginning to end on this one...The overall project quality is excellent, as was evidenced by the "oo's" and "ah's" by all those at the dedication.
