DENVER (February 23, 2019) – Pinkard Construction has been selected by Metro Community Provider Network (MCPN) to work as MCPN’s design-build team partner on their 21,767 square foot administration consolidation project.

Pinkard will collaborate with MOA Architecture to provide complete (GMP) design-build services for the $2.17 million (construction cost) project. Scope of work will include thorough partnering and planning sessions; comprehensive preconstruction services; and a proposed 120-day construction phase, which will include complete demolition; a code-related upgrade of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; and build-out of new office space on the first and second floors.

Pinkard will also re-surface and re-stripe the parking lot, remodel an existing patio, and perform minor exterior building improvements.

The project will centralize 125 MCPN employees from four different MCPN locations into a single location. The 125 employees comprise 10 administrative teams, including: Human Resources, Patient Accounts, Information Systems, Development, Operations, Finance, Strategy and Growth, Community Health, Compliance, and Training and Development. MCPN is expected to close on the new administrative building by March 1, 2019.

As the design-build team leader, Pinkard has already begun partnering activities and other early design-build services in anticipation of the closing. The 120-day construction phase is expected to commence by May 3, 2019.

This administration consolidation project is Pinkard’s second design-build project with the MCPN/MOA Architecture team. In 2018, the team completed MCPN’s two-phased, 10,000 square-foot North Aurora Family Health Services renovation ahead of schedule and under budget.
